WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) sent a complaint to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) calling for an investigation into Fraud Dan Sullivan (D) and Democrat strategist Amber Lee for breaking federal law and deceiving Alaska voters in an attempt to rig Alaska’s U.S Senate race in favor of Mary Peltola (D). Lee — a Peltola “supporter” who said this year she wants Peltola to “win” — authored Fraud Sullivan’s press release announcing his sham candidacy. The NRSC previously sent a letter to Alaska’s Lieutenant Governor and Division of Elections demanding Fraud Dan Sullivan be removed from the ballot to protect the integrity of the U.S. Senate race.
“Mary Peltola got caught red-handed in a desperate attempt to save her Alaska last campaign, and the FEC must immediately investigate Fraud Dan Sullivan and Peltola’s supporter, Amber Lee, for their deceptive scheme. Peltola can’t beat Senator Sullivan on his record, and she’s not going to win by cheating either,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.

Background
Prominent Alaskan lawyer and Ranked Choice Voting advocate, Scott Kendal, called Fraud Sullivan’s candidacy “pathetic” and said “It represents politics at its worst-purposefully trying to confuse voters into wasting their ballot. Candidates need to wage a battle of ideas, not resort to cowardly nonsense.”
Fraud Sullivan has donated to Peltola and other radical Democrats.
Lee’s Democrat consulting firm strictly works for radical left clients, including a group that aims to “train women who are pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ rights, pro-union, anti-racist and pro-racial justice” to serve as candidates and volunteers.”
The firm received thousands of dollars for “PAC Strategy Consulting” from Vote Alaska Before Party PAC, “a single-candidate super PAC in support of Mary Peltola” that has spent at least $10.4 million for Peltola.
In 2024, Alaska Before Party PAC tried to “game Alaska’s complicated electoral system to ensure Peltola has the best odds of prevailing in November.” It didn’t work.
Peltola was in Petersburg—Fraud Dan Sullivan’s hometown—just days before Fraud Sullivan announced his sham candidacy.
