Part of a $1.7 million television buy
Washington, D.C. – Today, the NRSC launched their latest television ad knocking Cheri Beasley’s past rulings as a state Supreme Court justice.
The new ad is called “Discovery,” and highlights Beasley’s rulings to:
- Vacate the death sentence of a teen murderer.
- Reverse the conviction of an armed kidnapper.
- Release a double murderer early.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “The NRSC will continue to inform North Carolina voters of Cheri Beasley’s record without sugarcoating the facts. The ad released today gives more examples of the violent criminals who Beasley protected. We hope voters will remember the victims when they vote in November.”
