The NRSC released a new radio ad today, which features a jingle reminding North Dakota voters of Heidi Heitkamp’s despicable high five celebration on the Senate Floor with Chuck Schumer after voting against the five-month abortion ban. The radio ad, which can be heard here, will run statewide.
Despite representing a state where President Trump won by 36 points, High Five Heidi has gone out of her way to sabotage the President’s agenda whenever possible, and her vote against important policies like the five-month abortion ban is the norm rather than the exception. High Five Heidi has also opposed President Trump’s efforts to cut taxes for the middle class, crack down on sanctuary cities, repeal and replace Obamacare and remove the job-killing BLM methane flaring rule.
President Trump said it best during his rally in Fargo when he told the crowd, “You need a senator who doesn’t just talk like she’s from North Dakota. You need a senator who votes like she’s from North Dakota.”
“High Five Heidi has repeatedly proven that instead of fighting to defend North Dakota values, she’s happier celebrating the radical policies put forward by Chuck Schumer and Washington liberals,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “North Dakotans need someone who will be with them 100% of the time, which is why Kevin Cramer will be the state’s next U.S. Senator.”
