WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital ad tonight slamming Josh Turek for his radical liberal agenda of raising taxes, slashing Second Amendment rights, and giving mass amnesty to illegal aliens.
“Chuck Schumer spent $10 million dollars to coronate Josh Turek as his rubber stamp for Democrats’ radical tax-and-spend agenda. In November, Iowans will reject him and elect Ashley Hinson to keep fighting for Iowa families, farmers, and workers,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.

Josh Turek is a radical Democrat bought and paid for by Chuck Schumer:
- Turek supports open-border policies, including mass amnesty, slashing border patrol funding, and granting illegal immigrants the right to vote.
- Turek would raise taxes and make life more expensive for Iowa families, by repealing the historic bill removing taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security.
- Turek skipped a farm bill vote to deliver much needed tax relief to farmers, after he promised to fight for a Farm Bill in the Senate.
- Turek supports transgender surgeries for children and supports men in girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms across Iowa schools.
- Turek wants to embed critical race theory in Iowa college curricula.

Josh Turek: That’s when we had the strength of the middle class. The wealthiest Americans during that time were paying a 91% marginalized tax rate.
That is when the largest earners were paying 90%.
I think that we need a wealth tax in place.
I would like to see us return to a 1990’s… assault weapons ban for example.
We also need an easier pathway to citizenship.
In the United States Senate I would not have supported any DHS funding.
