U.S. Senator Cory Gardner, Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), made the following statement regarding Senator Luther Strange’s advancement to the Alabama special primary run-off election in September:
“Tonight, the people of Alabama chose to support Luther Strange, who is a tested conservative like Jeff Sessions, in the U.S. Senate,” said NRSC Chairman Senator Cory Gardner. “President Trump’s pick for Senate successfully advanced to the run-off election, and we are confident he will be elected to remain in the Senate come December.”
