The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released the following statement after Washington Democrats spent $8 million to buy Democrat Theresa Greenfield a victory in the Iowa Democratic U.S. Senate primary:
“This primary proved Democrat Theresa Greenfield is unprepared to lead in a time of crisis,” said NRSC spokesperson Nathan Brand. “Whether it’s a career of blindsiding Iowa small businesses, or a campaign funded and controlled by Washington Democrats and corporate money, Greenfield has put her own interests and the agenda of liberal special interests ahead of the principles and priorities of Iowans.”
