WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released the following statement regarding the Montana Senate race:
“Kurt Alme is a proven champion for Montanans who will fight for lower costs, better opportunities for farmers and ranchers, and to restore law and order,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “Unlike Democrat Alani Bankhead or Chuck Schumer’s handpicked candidate Seth Bodnar, who will force their radical agenda on voters and be rejected in November.”
Seth Bodnar’s woke agenda:
- Bodnar was recruited by Chuck Schumer and Jon Tester, with Tester saying the Democrat Party was “poison” in Montana.
- Bodnar uses national Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue to fundraise.
- Bodnar has been described as “an early champion for transgender athletes at the University of Montana” and as President of the University of Montana, Bodnar oversaw the first transgender athlete to compete in Division I cross country.
- Bodnar opposes monumental legislation removing taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security, which provided Montana families historic tax relief.
- Under Bodnar’s leadership, the University of Montana became a “true partner” of Missoula Soft Landing, a refugee resettlement organization.
- Bodnar encouraged students to advance DEI.
