Following P.G. Sittenfeld’s harsh criticism of retread Ted Strickland on the Keystone Pipeline – in which Sittenfeld asked “When did it become acceptable for Senate candidates to avoid dealing with issues because they are controversial and divisive," the Democratic primary just got a whole lot messier in Ohio.

Northeast Ohio Media Group reports that Sittenfeld adviser Jerry Austin filed paperwork last week to start a super PAC:

Gerald Austin, a long-time Democratic strategist and consultant in Ohio, filed paperwork Friday to establish a campaign fund eligible to raise and spend unlimited sums of money…"It’s a super PAC," he said when asked about the group’s registration, filed late Friday at the Federal Election Commission. "We’re in the process of raising money in hope of helping progressive candidates in 2016."

With so many failures to choose from – from his record as governor to his "bobbing" and "weaving" on the Keystone Pipeline, one can only wonder what the first attack ad on Ted Strickland will be about.
