Ohioans will have more money in their pockets this tax season thanks to President Trump and Jon Husted passing the largest middle-class tax cut in history. According to IRS data, the Working Families Tax Cuts are saving Americans $2,290 on average this tax season, nearly 11% more than last year. Meanwhile, January inflation cooled to 2.4% year-over-year, beating expectations again.
“President Trump and Jon Husted are delivering bigger tax refunds and lowering inflation after four years of skyrocketing costs thanks to Democrats like Sherrod Brown,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “While Brown would have voted against these historic middle-class tax cuts, Husted is working to help Ohioans keep more of their hard-earned money.”
