Tammy Baldwin just voted against Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, making it perfectly clear she has no interest in doing anything but what her Washington party bosses tell her to.
Of course, this was Baldwin’s plan all along, seeing as she refused to meet face-to-face with Judge Kavanaugh before announcing opposition to him just 48 hours after his name was announced. From Day One, Tammy Baldwin made it obvious she was never going to give Kavanaugh a fair shake and was going to do whatever Chuck Schumer wanted to obstruct this nominee.
“Tammy Baldwin proved once again that she’ll choose Washington over Wisconsin, going so far as to lie about ever even wanting to meet with Judge Kavanaugh face-to-face to cover up her obstruction plan,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Wisconsin won’t stand for Tammy Baldwin’s lies or Democrats’ shameful tactics in smearing Judge Kavanaugh for their own political gain.”
