Today is the one year anniversary of President Trump signing the Laken Riley Act into law, with Pete Ricketts’ support in the Senate. Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student who was brutally murdered in Georgia by a criminal from Venezuela who had entered the country illegally under Joe Biden. Republicans in Congress championed the Laken Riley Act to help ensure tragedies like Laken’s murder never happen again.

But Fake Independent Dan Osborn would have joined his fellow Democrats and voted against the common-sense measure in the U.S. Senate.

“President Trump and Pete Ricketts are working to ensure tragedies like Laken Riley’s never happen again,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Fake Independent Dan Osborn is backed and funded by radical left Democrats and has hired and stood by staff that vilify law enforcement. Nebraskans who want to keep their families safe can’t afford to give Osborn a vote in the Senate.”
