After Bill Nelson was hit with a terrible poll this week showing that his reelection plan to gain the support of Florida’s Puerto Rican community is failing, the career politician is again scrambling to show he cares about Hispanic voters.

Less than a day after this poll came out, Bill Nelson quickly hit the pander button and announced he would attend the Audiencia Latina event being held in Orlando today.

Just like when he rushed to make his first Spanish language ad shortly after a savage article came out highlighting his lack of outreach to Florida’s Hispanic communities.

And just like when his campaign didn’t bother announcing they had a Spanish-language spokesperson until after they were asked by a reporter.

“Bill Nelson has had 40 years to support Florida’s Hispanic community, but once again, he only decides to care after his struggling reelection campaign is hit with terrible headlines,” said Camille Gallo NRSC Spokesperson. “Unfortunately for Bill Nelson, his transparent overcompensation isn’t fooling Floridians.”
