Washington, D.C. – The two announced Democratic U.S. Senate candidates in Pennsylvania are running in a race to the Left – and it’s a full-on sprint.

Candidate John Fetterman, who endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016, and then in return was supported by Bernie in 2018, recently signed the No Fossil Fuel Pledge in a state where fossil fuels are an integral part of the economy.

Then, there is candidate Malcolm Kenyatta, who SUPPORTS a ban on fracking and wants to “double down” on clean energy. Does he know this would KILL tens of thousands of jobs for the people he is trying to represent? Guess it doesn’t matter in a race to the Left.

Philadelphia consultant, Larry Ceisler, is even calling this race, “almost like our little version of Bernie Sanders vs. Elizabeth Warren.”

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “The Democrat candidates for Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate seat are trying to out-liberal one another. It’s a race to the Left – and they’re sprinting as fast as they can. The question is, who will get to the finish line first? What’s clear is that a pro-Bernie candidate or an anti-fracking candidate is way too liberal for the working class of Pennsylvania.”
