As New Hampshire Democrats inch closer toward a potentially long and messy primary for the state’s open Senate seat, Representatives Chris Pappas and Maggie Goodlander are competing to win over the far-left of their party.

Yesterday, Goodlander made several eyebrow-raising remarks at a New Hampshire town hall:

  • Goodlander claimed the Supreme Court “was stolen from the American people.”
  • Goodlander defended the pro-Hamas Columbia student who is in the U.S. on a Green Card and was deported by the Trump administration saying, “this should scare anyone in this country to the bone.”
  • Goodlander wouldn’t answer when asked if she would vote against aid to Israel, and then conceded she would “take a close look” at Bernie Sanders’ bill to halt certain arms sales to Israel.

This comes after Goodlander and Pappas both voted for a government shutdown in the House that would have devastated New Hampshire families.

Pappas has a long history of supporting leftist policies. Pappas:

  • Voted twice to allow biological males to compete in women’s sports.
  • Voted to raise taxes on Granite Staters making less than $400,000 per year and hire 87,000 new IRS agents to target middle-class taxpayers.
  • Opposes basic border security measures like building a wall along the southern border.
  • Supports the government banning gas-powered cars.
  • Supports the radical, job-killing Green New Deal.
