While Mexico Joe Donnelly continues to tout his “bipartisanship,” his record tells a completely different story.
Throughout his decade-long career in Washington, Mexico Joe has been a nothing but a partisan Democrat. During his time in the Senate, Mexico Joe voted with former President Barack Obama 86% of the time, and has voted with liberal Minority Leader Chuck Schumer at least 85% of the time. And since President Trump took office this January, Mexico Joe has been a loyal member of the “resistance,” voting against the Trump-Pence agenda on 75% of policy votes, including voting against both middle-class tax cuts and the repeal of Obamacare.
“Mexico Joe Donnelly has been a loyal, partisan Democrat throughout his decade in Washington,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Hoosiers voted in a landslide for President Trump last November, but Mexico Joe has stood firm, joining his most liberal colleagues to oppose the Trump-Pence agenda at every turn.”
