And unlike the rest of them, this one will actually be true.

For the FOURTH time since Memorial Day Weekend, Murphy was named ‘Loser of the Week’ by the Tampa Bay Times.

Murphy previously took home the dis-honor for campaign finance controversy, for lying about every piece of his professional experience, and for attempting to delay disaster relief so he could take credit at a press conference.

This time, Murphy is getting shredded for backing out of a debate against Alan Grayson, with Times political editor Adam Smith calling his reasoning “the phoniest excuse of the week.”

Front-runners are often loath to participate in debates for fear of making a mistake or elevating their challengers. But Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Patrick Murphy won the prize for phoniest excuse of the week, backing out of a debate with Alan Grayson citing unsubstantiated domestic abuse allegations against Grayson by his ex-wife. We get you’re scared of getting trounced, Patrick, but wouldn’t it be good to get some debate experience before you (probably) face Marco Rubio in a higher profile general election debate?

It’s almost as if this child of unimaginable privilege who has had his entire political career handed to him by his wealthy father after he accomplished nothing in his professional life and then lied about it is unfit for the challenges of a major campaign. Almost.
