As 30-Year Incumbent Democrat Fixates on Opponent’s Social Media, Let’s Take a Look at Her 30 Years of Votes

Washington, D.C. – Patty Murray and her flailing campaign are so desperate that they’ve resorted to attacking her opponent’s social media engagements. A local reporter in Seattle even asked, “Do you have more than that?”

If THIRTY-YEAR incumbent Patty Murray is so obsessed with PAST social media activities, let’s take a look at her PAST votes over the last THIRTY YEARS. BOTTOM LINE: If Patty Murray had her way, crime-fighters, parents and seniors on Medicare would all be left out in the cold.

Against Funding Crime-Fighters

  • 1993: Murray voted against a measure that authorized $200 million more for prosecutors and anti-gang prevention policies, and made several illegal gang activities federal offenses.
  • 1995: Murray voted against an appropriations bill that provided $14.6 billion for crime-fighting measures.

Against Expanding the Child Tax Credit

  • 2001: Patty voted against the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act, which doubled the child tax credit from $500 to $1,000 over ten years.
  • 2003: Patty voted against the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act, which accelerated the child tax credit doubling from $500 to $1,000 starting in 2004. Patty even called the 2003 tax cuts “misguided.”
  • 2017: Patty voted against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which doubled the child tax credit from $1,000 to $2,000 per child.
