Vice President Pence tore into Senator Jon Tester a rally in Billings today, taking the Montana Senator to task for rubberstamping Washington Democrats’ far-left agenda and obstructing President Trump at every turn.
Pence slammed Tester for voting against tax cuts for Montana farmers and ranchers, for voting to fund sanctuary cities and for voting against Justice Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court. “The President was right in Great Falls the other day. Jon Tester doesn’t share your values, or ours,” Vice President Pence said.
Pence went on to praise Tester’s challenger, Matt Rosendale, and encouraged Montanans to elect him to the U.S. Senate. “Matt Rosendale is a champion for all the strong conservative values that make Montana great… When I look at a fighter like Matt Rosendale, I sure think we could use another conservative fighter just like him in Washington, D.C.,” said Vice President Pence.

“Vice President Pence exposed Jon Tester for being the swampy far-left liberal he is,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Pence’s speech today serves as a powerful reminder that Senator Tester would rather kiss up to his left-wing party bosses than stand up to the Democrats’ radical tax-hiking, open borders agenda.”
