Vice President Pence was in Montana today for a rally where he blasted Senator Tester for opposing President Trump and siding with Washington liberals over the people of Montana.
The Vice President reminded Montanans that Senator Tester has fought President Trump’s agenda every step of the way, voting no on tax cuts for middle-class Montanans, siding with Democrats as they smeared Judge Kavanaugh, and voting no on defunding sanctuary cities.
“Whatever he may say when he’s back home in Montana, Senator Jon Tester is just part of the liberal Chuck Schumer ‘resistance,’” Vice President Pence said.
He also hammered Tester for siding with his party’s disgraceful handling of the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh and voting no on both of the President’s Supreme Court picks.
“Montana, the truth is Democrats have been opposed to Kavanaugh since the moment he was announced. Even before these latest allegations are fully investigated, Jon Tester already announced he’s voting ‘no’ on Judge Kavanaugh, just like he voted ‘no’ on Justice Gorsuch. Jon Tester is voting against Kavanaugh because he is a conservative. And I’m going to tell you, Montana deserves better.”
But Vice President Pence summed it up best when he said, “I think it’s time for Montana to vote ‘no’ on Jon Tester and send Matt Rosendale to Washington, D.C.”
