President Trump came out swinging against Joe Manchin today for his record of consistently opposing his agenda on everything from taxes to immigration.
Trump was in West Virginia to tout the economic success his policies, including tax cuts, have brought to the state. The President pointed out that Manchin had voted against the tax cuts and other measures, and was on the wrong side of the immigration debate. Trump’s remarks come just hours after Manchin publicly attacked the President in a state he won by 42 points in 2016.

“West Virginia has been a huge winner under President Trump’s economic policies, no thanks to Joe Manchin,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Manchin has offered nothing but opposition and obstruction over the past 14 months, and neither the President nor West Virginians will soon forget.”
