Not only do Nancy Pelosi and Jacky Rosen vote together 90% of the time, they also spread the same ridiculous lies about the benefits of the Republican tax cuts.
The Washington Post’s fact checker today gave Pelosi two Pinocchios for her false claim that 86 million middle-class Americans will see their taxes rise under the Republican tax bill, and just like Pelosi, Rosen falsely claims 50% of Americans will see their taxes increase. Both of these lies were spread despite the reality that “80 percent of taxpayers would get a tax cut, with less than 5 percent would get a tax increase.” Maybe Rosen should spend more time learning the facts about tax relief and less time fundraising in California.
“Just like her puppet master Nancy Pelosi, Jacky Rosen would rather lie to Nevadans than support legislation that helps them keep more of their hard-earned money,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Nevada voters will be reminded that instead of fighting to provide them with the economic relief they need and deserve, Rosen is determined to take away the extra cash in their pockets and lie to their faces while doing it.”
