Johnson Up By 5 Points

Washington, D.C. – A new AARP poll is out in Wisconsin and Senator Ron Johnson is leading dangerous Democrat Mandela Barnes by 5 points.

And it should come as no surprise that Barnes’ favorability is at -7.

This comes on the heels of a bad news cycle for Barnes. All his truths are finally coming to light: His radical tweets have been revealed, he lied about having any active duty law enforcement officer endorsements, an investigation into his travel just emerged, and the list goes on.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “This will be a rough 40 days for Bad News Barnes. His past – such as his soft-on-crime record – continues to haunt him with no end in sight.”
