Jacky Rosen followed the lead of San Francisco liberal Nancy Pelosi today when she voted against legislation that would strengthen law enforcement’s ability to go after lawbreaking criminals and punish the sanctuary cities that provide them refuge.
Rosen voted against H.R. 3003, No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, which would restrict states and localities from receiving federal funding if they refuse to comply with federal laws related to deporting criminals. She also voted against H.R. 3004, Kate’s Law, which will deter illegal reentry and keep criminals off our streets.
“With today’s votes, Jacky Rosen decided to put the radical demands of Nancy Pelosi before the safety of Nevadan families,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Rosen is dead wrong if she thinks going easy on lawbreaking criminals will win her the support of hardworking folks in Nevada.”
