Jacky Rosen joined Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Washington Democrats today to stand in the way of Republican efforts to deliver middle class tax relief and restore fiscal order in Washington.
Rosen voted against the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Resolution, which is a commonsense plan that provides a path to balancing the federal budget and sets the stage for pro-growth policies including middle class tax reform. Rosen’s decision proves Nevadans can’t count on her to provide the financial relief they need.
“Nevadans are making daily sacrifices to stay within a budget, but Jacky Rosen and Nancy Pelosi refuse to make the federal government live within its means,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Rosen’s opposition to Republicans’ commonsense budget proposal shows she would rather play politics than do her job.”
