Harry Reid has made it clear he’s going to spend big to decide who will be Nevada’s Democrat Senate nominee.
Reid and his affiliated political organizations donated $14,000 to his pawn Jacky Rosen in Q2. The hefty donations follow reports that Reid is doing everything in his power to clear the Democrat field and guarantee his hand-picked candidate will become the nominee.
The most disturbing aspect of Reid’s involvement is that Jacky Rosen seems perfectly content being his puppet. She recently admitted Reid was directly involved in getting her to run. I guess that’s Rosen’s best strategy, given she doesn’t have a single accomplishment to campaign on.
“Nevadans should be insulted Harry Reid is using his puppet candidate Jacky Rosen to continue pushing his extremist agenda,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Rosen’s reliance on Harry Reid flies in the face of the independent qualities Nevadans are looking for in their elected officials.”
