After spending months vilifying the Republican tax plan, including putting out false information, Jacky Rosen’s radical predictions about the bill hurting Nevada families are being proven false.
Las Vegas based South Point Casino, Resort, and Spa announced yesterday afternoon they will be joining more than 100 other companies that have handed out bonuses, higher wages, and increased charitable donations as a result of the Republican tax cuts. South Point will be doling out more the $1 million in bonuses, and the news follows developer Steve Witkoff announcing he will be moving forward with a Las Vegas resort project expected to create 11,000 jobs in Nevada. So much for the “Armageddon” Rosen and her Democratic colleagues predicted.
“With each announcement touting bonuses, new jobs, and higher wages, Nevada voters are seeing the economic benefits of the tax cuts Jacky Rosen voted against,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Nevadans won’t forget that Jacky Rosen denied them the opportunity to keep more of their hard-earned cash to vote with Nancy Pelosi and Washington Democrats.”
