Roy Cooper deleted his post showing a picture of him presenting a photo ID to vote. As Governor, Cooper vetoed legislation that would require IDs to vote in elections. Cooper refused to support the SAVE Act at a press conference today. The legislation would require IDs to vote in federal elections.

“Roy Cooper used an ID to vote — the exact thing he fought against mandating as Governor and would oppose as Senator. It’s Democrat hypocrisy at its finest,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia
