Roy Cooper, who is 69-years-old, is refusing to personally answer if he will serve a full term in the U.S. Senate and if his health would impede him from doing so. Instead, Cooper directed Hillary Clinton’s lawyer, Marc Elias to send a cease-and-desist letter to the outlet who asked Cooper these simple questions.
Cooper has had several Joe Biden-esque gaffes this cycle.
- Cooper: “There’s not enough month at the end of the money for too many families.”
- Cooper: “She’s even turning her thermostat up high into the seventies—higher than it ever is, than its ever been—and then she’s still getting $60 a month more in insurance.”
- Cooper: “Too many people now just have too much month at the end of the money. I’ve got a plan.”
Reminder: Cooper is hiding in Chuck Schumer’s basement. Cooper was caught recycling old social-media posts instead of actually campaigning.
“Cooper’s intense overreaction to simple questions and his refusal to personally answer them should be setting alarm bells off across the state. North Carolinians deserve transparency, and Cooper must personally answer these basic questions instead of hiding behind his radical left D.C. lawyers,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
