Days after the arrest of Venezuela’s former illegitimate president, Nicolas Maduro, Roy Cooper is still silent. At least 32,276 North Carolinians died from drug overdoses while indicted drug trafficker Nicolas Maduro ruled as a dictator over Venezuela. Heroes from Fort Bragg’s Delta Force were part of the effort to arrest Maduro and bring him to face American justice.

“By refusing to welcome Maduro’s arrest, Roy Cooper is once again putting his loyalty to the radical left above standing with North Carolina’s men and women in uniform and victims of his pro-sanctuary city policies,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.

REMINDER: Roy Cooper fights for illegals, not North Carolinians:

  • Cooper’s soft-on-crime policies allowed nearly 500 violent illegals back onto the streets, including those charged with rape and murder.
  • Cooper vetoed three pieces of legislation requiring North Carolina sheriffs to cooperate with ICE, embracing dangerous sanctuary policies that harbor criminal illegals.
