Sebastien Sainvil is an illegal alien from Haiti arrested by ICE in North Carolina for multiple violent offenses.
Thanks to Roy Cooper turning North Carolina into a sanctuary state, this dangerous illegal was allowed to roam free and was never handed over to ICE.
In 2017, Sainvil was arrested for assault by strangulation. But under Roy Cooper and fellow Democrat, District Attorney Billy West, the charges were dropped.
After Roy Cooper left office, Sainvil was finally indicted after years of roaming free on one count of assault by strangulation and breaking and entering to terrorize or injure.
But Judge Quintin McGee, whom Cooper appointed as a Special Superior Court Judge, handed down a soft sentence, sentencing Sainvil to 8 months less than the maximum.
“Roy Cooper puts dangerous illegals like Sainvil over North Carolinians’ safety. Cooper’s sanctuary policies and his soft-on-crime regime have made North Carolina less safe,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
