Somsack Khamhaeng is a criminal illegal alien from Laos, convicted for possession of firearm by felon and drug possession in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
Despite Khamhaeng repeatedly breaking North Carolina law, he was never turned over to ICE and allowed to roam free under Roy Cooper’s sanctuary policies.

Khamhaeng was finally arrested by ICE in North Carolina after Roy Cooper left office.
“This criminal illegal should have been arrested and immediately deported, but Roy Cooper’s sanctuary policies allowed criminals like Khamhaeng to roam free and put North Carolinians in danger,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
