Welcome to Roy Cooper’s Worst of the Worst Wednesday.

Carlos Fernandez Rosales is an illegal from Honduras who committed first degree murder and was arrested several times for robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Despite multiple arrests, Rosales was repeatedly released, and multiple ICE detainers were not honored thanks to Roy Cooper turning North Carolina into a sanctuary state and the soft-on-crime Democrat whom Cooper appointed as District Attorney.

  • Arrested for first degree murder and released the same day. Then the charge was dropped
  • Arrested for one felony count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and released the same day. The charge was dropped.
  • Once again, arrested for one count of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon and released the same day. The charge was dropped
  • Arrested for one felony count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and released the same day, again.
  • Arrested for one count of felony conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and released the same day, again.

“Rosales should have been put behind bars, kept there, and then deported. But Roy Cooper’s sanctuary policies and his soft-on-crime Democrat allies allowed this dangerous illegal to roam free and hurt North Carolinians,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia
