Last night, President Trump lit up Bill Nelson for being controlled by his Democratic party boss, Chuck Schumer, who is bankrolling his reelection campaign, and the President sure wasn’t wrong.
Now, it looks like Bill Nelson is taking his marching orders from Chuck on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, even though a majority of Floridians want the eminently-qualified judge confirmed.
According to Politico, Schumer is instructing his loyal followers to “Keep your powder dry. Don’t commit. Stay as neutral as you can, as long as you can.” And Bill has obeyed those orders, delaying meeting with Judge Kavanaugh and even dodging questions on the Supreme Court all together.
Chuck really trained this foot solider well.
“There’s no ignoring the fact that Bill Nelson is completely controlled by party boss Chuck Schumer and his money,” said Camille Gallo NRSC Spokesperson. “If Bill Nelson was really the independent voice he claims to be, he’d stand up to his party leader and give Judge Brett Kavanaugh a fair hearing.”
