A small number of the requested documents were finally released today and they show a similar pattern to what was observed from McGinty’s email with Hillary Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta.
Three separate documents show that in her capacity as Chief of Staff, McGinty was more concerned with setting up her Senate run than working on behalf of Pennsylvania taxpayers.
McGinty requested Senator Toomey’s poll numbers, met with Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, and requested Senator Chuck Schumer’s contact information – three pieces of information that don’t seem to have much of an impact on McGinty’s role as Chief of Staff and everything to do with her impending Senate run…
What’s more — the Wolf Administration has very clear rules about acceptable conduct. The Administration’s Guidelines for Political Activity page notes that no one may, “Participate in political activity (such as campaigning, fundraising, canvassing or poll watching) during work hours.”
These documents are just more data points to prove that Shady Katie has a long history of putting self-service before public service.
