Washington, D.C. – Today, Senate Democrats voted UNANIMOUSLY to confirm a radical nominee to Biden’s Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Alvaro Bedoya is a far-Left liberal activist who has called Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) an “out of control domestic surveillance agency.” Bedoya has also called on state law enforcement agencies to not cooperate with ICE.
But an open border isn’t the only radical Left policy that Bedoya supports. He wants historical monuments to be removed and defaced. He’s advocated for Critical Race Theory and has ties to radical dark money groups like Demand Progress.
Bedoya and his radical views don’t belong in the federal government receiving a taxpayer-funded salary.
Senators like Mark Kelly, Raphael Warnock, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, and Michael Bennet voted to appoint a radical open borders activist to a powerful position in Biden’s Administration. They clearly don’t have a problem with far-Left radicals running the federal government.
