Washington, D.C. – Critical Race Theory, the ahistorical brainchild of radical academics decades ago, has seeped its way into the mainstream and many on the Left wants it to be taught to children in public schools.
This has led to an outcry from parents across the political and racial spectrum at the local school district level. They rightfully fear that it will stoke racial divisions based on inaccurate revisionist history that demonizes our founders and the bedrock principles America was founded on.
Tonight, Senate Democrats voted against an amendment that would prevent this insidious ideology to be taught to America’s schoolchildren. Key components of Critical Race Theory were found to be deeply unpopular among voters in a recent NRSC/RGA battleground poll:
Democrat senators up for re-election this year should have to explain to their constituents why they support Critical Race Theory while home for August recess. Will Senators Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Raphael Warnock, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Michael Bennet run from this question or step up to the mic and answer for their vote?
