Socialist Bernie Sanders just gave him another: more out-of-state money.
If there’s any way to Mr. Clean’s heart, it’s the prospect of receiving cash from national donors.
As the Associated Press reports, Senator Sanders sent out a "plea" to "his national fundraising list" to get his friend back in Washington, DC.
We’re not sure that we could have crafted a better fundraising email ourselves.
In addition to noting that the request was sent from his adopted state of California, Senator Sanders touts Senator Feingold’s vote against increasing terrorism surveillance and his efforts to lead the fight for ObamaCare’s passage as insurers seek to raise rates by 20% or more. Sanders also praises Mr. Clean’s campaign finance reform record in the fundraising email he made certain to mention was sent to…national donors.
Senator Sanders should consider a career in Republican communications for highlighting some of Senator Feingold’s worst hits during his 18 years in Washington.
