By thinking that he knew better than his constituents, Senator Feingold’s soaring ego led to soaring premium hikes.
As the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, tens of thousands of Wisconsinites "will be in for additional pain":
…But the tens of thousands of people throughout the state who don’t qualify for federal subsidies — most of whom have already seen the cost of their health insurance jump in recent years — will be in for additional pain. They will pay the full cost of double-digit premium increases. Several insurers, including at least four in the Milwaukee area, are raising premiums by more than 20%…The increases are the largest since the Affordable Care Act remade the health insurance market…
