Sherrod Brown’s former colleagues just opposed Republican-led legislation supported by Jon Husted to ban insider stock trading. Brown’s friends also opposed requiring a photo ID to vote, once again.
After 32 years of being a swamp creature, Sherrod Brown hasn’t delivered anything and is still saying it’s time to ban members of Congress from trading stocks. He also called voter ID “unnecessary” and said he would oppose Husted’s voter ID legislation. Democrats also blocked that bill.
“For 32 years, swamp creature Sherrod Brown voted in lockstep with the radical left in Washington. Whether it’s banning insider stock trading or requiring an ID to vote, Brown puts his party over delivering for Ohioans,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
