During his 32 years in Washington, Sherrod Brown opposed $800 million in fentanyl detection. Brown fueled the drug crisis by supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ open border policies that allowed fentanyl to scourge Ohio.

Brown is so out of touch, he thought there were only “hundreds of deaths a year” from fentanyl in 2024. 2,000 Ohioans died from fentanyl in 2024, according to preliminary data.

Meanwhile, Brown took hundreds of thousands in campaign cash from the opioid giants who fueled the opioid epidemic.

Brown even defended defund the police radicals who want to take away the resources law enforcement needs to keep fentanyl off the streets.

“Sherrod Brown fueled the fentanyl crisis that killed Ohioans by the thousands while he took campaign cash from opioid giants in Washington. Brown put far more effort into giving illegal aliens government benefits than protecting innocent Ohioans,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia
