The good news keeps coming for hardworking Nevadans. Starbucks announced pay raises and expanded benefits for 150,000 employees nationwide this morning, which follows the Labor Department releasing numbers showing Nevada saw the nation’s biggest increase in jobs over the last year with a 3.3% increase in payroll employment.
All of this comes despite Jacky Rosen doing her best to stop Nevadans from seeing the economic benefits they deserve. Rosen proudly stood with Nancy Pelosi in opposing the GOP tax plan and has even called to repeal the legislation that is leading to wage increases, new job opportunities and bigger paychecks.
“With the latest news of rapid job growth and more employee investment, Rosen’s decision to vote against the GOP tax relief plan looks even more ridiculous,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Nevada families and businesses can’t trust reckless Jacky Rosen to put them before her partisan loyalties.”
