Despite Conor Lamb’s silence when it comes to supporting our troops, Democrat veterans group endorses him
Washington, D.C. – As Americans across the country and legislators from both sides of the aisle are speaking out against President Biden’s botched withdrawal in Afghanistan, some House Democrats looking for a promotion, like Conor Lamb, are playing partisan politics and refusing to condemn President Biden and his administration for the sake of our nation, our troops and the people of Afghanistan.
Biden’s agenda of abandonment in Afghanistan is leaving Americans to fend for themselves. And as a veteran, Lamb’s silence is deafening.
Despite the silence, however, VoteVets, a national Democratic group, endorsed Conor Lamb today in his run for the Pennsylvania seat in the U.S. Senate.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “Conor Lamb needs to put politics aside and do what is right for our country and our troops. As a veteran, he knows better and as a veterans’ organization, VoteVets knows better than to endorse a candidate who refuses to side with our troops over the leader of his party. This is all just political charades and Pennsylvanians see right through it.”
