Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly finally got around to meeting with Judge Brett Kavanaugh after intense pressure from his opponent, Mike Braun, but he’s continuing to follow the lead of his Democratic Party boss, Chuck Schumer.
According to reports, Schumer has instructed red state Democrats to, “Keep your powder dry. Don’t commit. Stay as neutral as you can, as long as you can,” while Schumer and his liberal allies maneuver to block Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation. And Sleepin’ Joe continues to happily oblige, refusing to publicly commit to voting for the eminently qualified judge.
“It’s time for Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly to stop playing political games and commit to voting for Judge Brett Kavanaugh,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Instead of listening to Hoosiers, Sleepin’ Joe is doing the bidding of his party boss in Washington, Chuck Schumer, whose only admitted goal is to obstruct the Trump-Pence administration at all costs.”
