Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly has been putting on his election year moderate act ahead of the midterms, but showed his true colors today as he voted to continue sending taxpayer dollars to the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
Sleepin’ Joe insists that he is pro-life when he’s trying to hoodwink Hoosiers, but has once again caved to his Democratic Party bosses and liberal special interests with his vote to fund the abortion industry. Sleepin’ Joe’s betrayal of Hoosier values will be fresh on voters’ minds as they head to the polls in November.
“Sleepin’ Joe Donnelly pretends to have Hoosiers’ backs, but once again he has sold them out to appease his liberal donors and the Democratic Party base,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “By voting to send tax dollars to the nation’s leading abortion provider, Sleepin’ Joe has proven he doesn’t have the backbone to stand up for Hoosier values.”
