In her TV ads, Claire McCaskill pretends to be an independent who is eager to work with President Trump (despite a record that shows that’s nonsense). But behind closed doors, she’s singing a different tune to her liberal supporters.
In a video taken at a campaign event back in June, McCaskill tells a crowd that folks are begging her to “Save us!” from President Trump. And McCaskill thinks she is just the person to save America from Trump’s plans to cut taxes and regulations and rebuild the economy, encouraging supporters to donate $5 every time they disagree with the President. Interesting message for a Democrat running in a state Trump won by 19 points…

“If Claire McCaskill thinks Missourians are looking for someone to ‘save them’ from President Trump, she needs to step off her private plane and actually talk to voters back home,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “McCaskill pretends to be an independent in her TV ads, but when she’s talking to her supporters she shows her true colors as a liberal partisan Democrat.”
