Last year, Senator Feingold’s surrogate blamed his 2010 loss to businessman Ron Johnson on voters "coming out of the trailer parks, essentially."

Back in 2005, Senator Feingold himself also made derogatory remarks when he "outraged residents" during a golf vacation in Alabama:

"Feingold, a Wisconsin Democrat, came to Greenville for a vacation in November with his family and to play golf at Cambrian Ridge Golf Course. After eating dinner one night, Feingold said he decided to take a tour of the area. ‘And what we saw — check-cashing stores and abject trailer parks, and some of the hardest-used cars for sale on a very rundown lot — told us the people there were hurting economically and deserved more than they were getting,’ Feingold wrote." The next time Senator Feingold and Secretary Clinton wish to insult the American people, perhaps they should do so via email as to ensure that their shameful rhetoric will remain hidden until after the November election.
