Washington, D.C. – Today’s House Judiciary Committee hearing with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was a déjà vu moment to yesterday’s House Homeland Security Committee hearing featuring Florida Congresswoman Val Demings. She once again chose to ignore the crisis at the Southern Border and asked no questions regarding the problems her party’s radical immigration agenda has caused.
Fentanyl overdoses, crime surges, record number of apprehensions, and terrorists entering the country are all consequences of the Democrats’ open border and amnesty agenda. Still the Senate hopeful from Florida refuses to engage in any sort of discussion to find a solution, even after admitting there is a problem with the immigration process.

While Demings tried to use her time at today’s hearing to accuse Republicans of playing political games with the Southern Border, she refuses to address the crisis or take any action to fix it. She even supported ending Title 42, which will cause a massive new influx of illegal immigrants to our Southern border. Demings and her fellow Democrats are playing games with the safety and security of Americans. Floridians don’t need a weak, do-nothing Democrat like Val in Washington.”
