In the first debate of the Montana Senate race, Montanans got their clearest picture yet of how Two Faced Tester continues to say one thing at home and do another in Washington.
On every issue, Tester tried to run away from his liberal record and hide the fact he has spent last 12 years in Congress cozying up to lobbyists and doing the loyal bidding of his liberal party bosses. On question after question, Tester made clear that he’d rather side with Washington liberals than stand up and fight with President Trump to deliver results for Montana families.
“Jon Tester showed Montanans how he left them far behind in favor of the glitz and glam of the Washington swamp,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Montanans couldn’t have a clearer choice before them: Matt Rosendale, a conservative fighter who will help President Trump achieve his agenda, or Jon Tester, a liberal obstructionist who will sell out Montana for Washington Democrats every chance he gets.”
