Jon Tester is out with a new TV ad today touting his work with President Trump, but when you look past the folksy imagery and look at Tester’s record, you will see he stands firmly against the President.
According to FiveThirtyEight, Jon Tester has voted against President Trump’s policies 80% of the time. When President Obama was in office, Tester voted with the liberal Chicagoan 92% of the time.
So much for Tester’s pretend Trump record.
“Jon Tester’s first campaign ad is so disingenuous it should be insulting to Montanans who voted for President Trump,” said Katie Martin, NRSC Communications Director. “The truth is in his voting record, and Jon Tester can’t hide the fact that he has voted AGAINST President Trump 80% of the time.”
