Republicans have released their plan to provide Montanans with historic tax cuts that will create jobs, grow the economy, and save the typical family of four $1,182 a year.
But, instead of embracing a plan that will give more money to small businesses and middle-class families, Politico reports that radical liberal Chuck Schumer is “working hard to bring down the GOP tax plan before it even gets to his side of the Capitol.” This type of mindless obstruction is exactly what Montana families and businesses can’t afford. So now, Jon Tester has a decision to make: remain loyal to Chuck Schumer and Washington Democrats, or give Montanans the tax relief they want and deserve.
“Folks in Montana can’t afford Chuck Schumer and his obstructionist policies hurting their financial well-being,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “If Jon Tester can’t set aside his partisan politics to support bigger paychecks and more financial relief for Montanans, he will find himself in the unemployment line in 2019.”
